We chose this hotel for its location opposite Gare du Nord International Terminus and numerous minutes away from underground access to metro lines fanning Paris for what was a two night stay.It was revealing that The area in front of the terminus is pedestrianised and a significant police presence has enhanced the safety of the area. A big plus is they allow you to store your luggage after check out until your evening departure from Gare du Nord The hotel has gone through a major renovation and the rooms even though on the small side as is often the case in Paris through clever design it does not feel that way..Firstly an extra large double bed comes with sa very comfortable but firm mattress and fine bed linen. There is adequate storage and the wardrobe space is open so that it does not impose on this space. The windows are double glazed and with air conditioning an unusual feature in most Paris hotels the outside noise is kept to a minimum as a window not necessarily required to be open.A positive feature in view of a summer of heatwaves. There is a coffee machine with capsules.Excellent toiletries are provided with exception of conditioner. The shower room and washbasin were behind the bed separated by a glass partition partly opaque allowing light to enter from bedroom area window and give an illusion of space. Two other important features yes a separate toilet and focus bedside lamps. The breakfast was not your typical baguette jam and coffee as often is the case but a huge choice including hams cheeses English type hot breakfast and different breads and pastries I big thankyou to Nadege Valerie from senior management and Lakda on reception You can request a much higher floor level 8 to reduce noise level from the street if you require windows open.in the knowledge of an efficient modern lift system

We stayed for one night and liked the hotel. The breakfast was very basic, but adequate. It's a cozy place in a good location.

We were worried about the reviews we read. But there is nothing to worry about, the hotel is in a place where you will see strange people and even more strange situations, but no one is in any real danger. At least that was the case for us in May. We enjoyed our stay, the staff is very nice and attentive. The mixed drinks are of a very high standard. The room is small, but beautifully decorated.

The hotel is directly across from the gars de nord with several dining options nearby. The staff was very friendly and help. Even opened the cafe early to make me a cappuccino. The elevator is a little small, but not an issue. Don’t miss the view of the Eiffel Tower from the stairs. I’d come back.

Fantastic centrally located hotel right by the train station! The room we had was furnished with attention to detail, very clean, and despite the nearby train station, completely quiet (with the window closed). It had a real Parisian charm, albeit in a small space, but very functionally laid out. The staff was also very friendly and spoke good English.

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Flanelles. The staff were friendly, incredibly attentive and genuinely went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and uninterrupted. That level of care really stood out. The hotel itself has so much character, with interiors that strike a lovely balance between modern design and a distinctly Parisian feel. If you’re looking for a hotel that feels contemporary without losing its sense of place, Flanelles is a great choice. And the location is a 10/10. Being directly opposite Gare du Nord is incredibly convenient, particularly during Fashion Week when getting around the city efficiently matters. The convenience is genuinely unmatched. I stayed in a room with a spacious balcony, which was one of my favourite features. The lighting in the room was beautiful, the décor was thoughtfully done and the bed was extremely comfortable. The only thing I would have loved was a clothing rail or a little more hanging space, as I found the wardrobe space a little limited for a Fashion Week stay. That said, we made it work and it certainly wouldn’t stop me from returning. Overall, a stylish, comfortable and exceptionally well-located hotel with a fantastic team. I would definitely stay at Hotel Flanelles again.

In Paris for 3 nights to celebrate our 40th Anniversary and chose Hotel Flanelles due to its location, lower nightly rate (the City rates were very high the week we stayed) and that it was newer (completely renovated 2023). The entire Staff was wonderful and treated us nicely; they all spoke English which was helpful for us. We had a 7th floor Room overlooking the station which was pretty soundproof with windows closed. Clean room, Queen bed was comfortable and shower water pressure/temp was great (tiny like many Paris rooms). Had a good variety of tasty breakfast items. Our only issue was the AC only came on if it was hotter than 22 C (71 F) - too hot for us so they gave us a Fan which was so helpful! If windows are open, very loud most of the day/night but this was expected; it was nice to have fresh air and a bit of a view. Yes the elevator is small/slow so be patient. Yes some seedy people outside the station so be aware of surroundings (the biggest plus is you walk out of the station and directly across the street in the door!)

Wow, the location is seriously the best! It's literally right in front of Gare du Nord!! I had to arrive at Gare du Nord from Amsterdam and also needed to go to London, so I had to stay at the station. The location is just so good. Five stars!! And why is the room so romantically Parisian? It's so pretty and even has a window haha. The manager was so kind; he showed me the way to catch the Big Bus and even held my luggage for me. So incredibly friendly. There is also a famous bakery nearby that won first place for croissants; you definitely have to try them. I felt so comfortable staying here. Friendly and great.
